I was a student back in those days, my old school had computers at the library so when we have projects we can stay after school working on those presentation, and we didn't have an usb flash drive, but we use the floppy disk to save our work, yeah it was nice to spend all the time working on powerpoint

I don't know, religious people have this virgin-by-choice deal, but on the other hand, I suppose it is not necessarily one's own choice, but the choice of their cult/religion... then there are also those honour-codes, and, people who actually believe that virginhood is a requirement to having magical-powers/para-normal-abilities...

Looking at religious prospect, yes thats one reason people are single too. I mean I am a religious person and I too prefer to be single until married. Still many people use "Single by choice" term just as an excuse. That actually makes me feel annoyed.

Ehh, well, some people actually believe that, the whole magic/psychic-abilities for being a so-called virgin, but, I, personally, relegate that into the realm of cult/religious-belief. Then there is also something called MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way) which comes across to me as taking the whole men versus women thing a little over-board. And, statistically speaking, most of the world-population is actually single, a phenomenon that first emerged after most of the world-population went from rural to urban according to known historical-records (I am aware of various other things that have gone on with this world but it would be too seemingly impossible for the uninitiated to believe). Whilst the «single via choice» term sounds like an excuse, a lot animé depict «royal-culture» that necessarily means there are also such things as the «forced marriages» ...kind of like the opposite of single-via-choice. Lots of drama-stories I could point out on this one, but, I am leave it at that, for now.
